Description

The worship of Kaali reverses the ill-effects of black magic, and frees a person from the bad influences of spirits & ghosts. Her worship bestows spiritual power, and results in fulfillment of desires, increase in wealth and comforts of life. She is also worshipped to get rid off chronic diseases like blood pressure, paralysis and nervous disorders. Her worship also bestows longevity.

Kali is represented as the consort of god Shiva, on whose body she is often seen standing. Kali’s association with blackness stands in contrast to her consort, Shiva, whose body is covered by the white ashes of the cremation ground.
