Description
The nine planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) play a major role in our life. Describing the significance of worshipping Navgrahas (nine planets), Lord Vishnu told Rudra -‘One who worships the Navgraha with appropriate rituals attains all the four purusharth (objectives of man’s life):- dharma (religion), artha (materialistic abundance), kaam (fulfillment of desires) and moksha (salvation).’
As per Puranas, this Puja:
• Pacifies malefic planets and neutralizes negative effects.
• Strengthens benevolent planets by increasing their positive influences.
• Blesses with good health, prosperity and peace of mind.
• Removes obstacles in work.
Puja service includes: Ganpathi Smaran, Shaanti paath, Invocation of all deities, daily chanting of 1.25 lacs mantras of all the nine planets (1 planet in a day for 9 days), Aarti, daily Havan with 108 ahutis of respective Navgraha sticks, shanti donation of respective planet, daily Brahmin Bhojan.
